Mostra Igualada invites people to experience the fair from the inside and is looking for volunteers and host families for the 37th edition

Coinciding with the presentation of the image for the 37th edition, Mostra Igualada is making a double call to recruit new volunteers and host families, two essential roles that make the fair possible. The call will remain open until February 28 and is addressed to anyone who wishes to become actively involved in organizing an event that, year after year, turns Igualada into a major meeting point for the performing arts for children and young audiences.
Volunteering is a key part of how Mostra Igualada operates and involves a range of tasks such as venue supervision, audience assistance, material distribution, and other logistical duties. During each edition, around eighty people join the volunteer team, which enjoys several benefits such as an exclusive gift, participation in the closing dinner, and the opportunity to experience the fair from the inside with first-hand information.
Host families
At the same time, the Mostra is once again promoting the host families project, an initiative that invites families from Igualada and the Anoia region to open their homes to host, for one or more days, artists, programmers, and other professionals involved in the fair. This experience offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with key figures in the performing arts and to contribute to the success of the event.
The Mostra team takes care of board and meals and acts as an intermediary to ensure that the experience is comfortable and enriching for both the families and the hosted guests. As a token of appreciation, host families will receive a family pass for a performance, will enter a draw to win a trip and accommodation for four people to the FIET – Children’s and Youth Theatre Fair of the Balearic Islands, and will also be invited to the closing dinner of the fair.
