CHALLENGES OF DRAMATURGY IN FAMILY THEATRE

Scenic creation for family audiences raises specific challenges that directly concern dramaturgy: how can artistic quality, educational purpose, and respect for children’s free perspective be combined? In an increasingly demanding context, working under good conditions and with clear agreements between companies and dramaturgy professionals becomes key to ensuring healthy processes and strong artistic proposals.

Based on the Code of Good Practices promoted by the Associació Catalana de Dramatúrgia, this talk will reflect on the importance of establishing prior agreements, defining roles, and taking care of creative relationships as a foundation for improving artistic quality and strengthening the sector.
