Only the walls remain, dirty and wrinkled. In this bare space, the clown makes us accomplices of those who inhabit it, connecting with failure, loneliness and nostalgia with naivety and shamelessness.
Zloty is an intimate and crazy story about freedom, adversity and the passion for a life of a traveling circus. A suspended time where everything is possible, where clowning, gesture theatre and live music (piano, voice and clarinet) mix to believe in the impossible, to enter the fog and go beyond.

Meet the company
The Pau Palaus company was born in 2018 after an initial journey in street theater under the name Contaminando Sonrisas. Pau Palaus claims the audience and trial and error as his main school. The same year, Maria Soler joined, in the framework of production and distribution. Together they develop a project where the clown, music and visual language are the central axis.
Among their shows are Le Voyage, Petjades (2018), Zloty (2022) and Embolic (2024). Zloty , a co-production of Fira Tàrrega, has received the Zirkolika Award for best clown show. The company is currently on tour with Zloty and Embolic .
