A life journey with the mission to raise awareness about diversity
Marc Buxaderas shares his life story in a powerful one-man show, told from the perspective of a person living with a physical disability. Through personal anecdotes and everyday situations, we step into Marc’s world: a life experienced from his wheelchair. With warmth and sharp humor, he reveals what it truly means to live with cerebral palsy, shedding light on the challenges and unexpected adventures that shape his daily routine, from getting dressed in the morning to going to bed at night.
Spasticity blends surreal, funny, and deeply moving moments. The performance deliberately avoids over-sentimentalizing disability or falling into the “poor thing” narrative. Instead, it challenges the audience, placing them in thought-provoking and sometimes uncomfortable situations that invite genuine reflection.

About the company
Born in 1999 with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, Marc Buxaderas launched the project “Posa un discapacitat a la teva vida” in 2016, driven by a clear mission: to normalize disability and reshape society’s perception of people with different abilities.
Spasticity is the culmination of his path as an actor and communicator, bringing together humor, emotional depth, and lived experience in a performance that both entertains and transforms.
