A street vendor presents us with “The Sadness Evasion”, a pair of magic glasses that allow us to see the beautiful things in this world. Will it be true or will it be a hoax? Only people who want to put an end to their sadness will be able to appreciate the universe of Sadnessländ . A piece of contemporary dance and physical theater, framed in a frenetic waltz in search of happiness.

Meet the company
Cia. Carla Sisteré is a contemporary dance and physical theatre company founded in Barcelona in 2021 under the direction of Carla Sisteré. The company works in street shows, indoor shows and educational activities, as well as in workshops or community creations. Since its inception, it has performed more than 70 performances nationally and internationally at festivals such as Fira Tàrrega or MAC.
