An intimate struggle between what dominates and what wants to be born

Escorça is a contemporary circus piece that explores identity and power relations through the bond between a puppet and the puppeteer. A manipulated body that becomes aware and struggles to go beyond the limits that are imposed on it. In this dialogue between control and transformation, the show invites us to look at ourselves from the fragility and tension between who we are and who we are allowed to be.

Meet the company

The company arises from the synergy between Marc Bosch and Andreas Avgousti, who develop a research between body and object where technique is put at the service of the story with circus language as a creative tool. At the intersection between physical research and critical thinking, they build poetic scenic universes open to the world.
