On stage, the rawness of a music video recording set and the other side of the Pop-Star
From their frustrated motivations to be Pop Superstars, and with the desire to vindicate the value of the great musical themes that represent the canon of mainstream culture, Caribe Mix '23 proposes on stage the recording of the video clip of the original song No Se Va a Pegar (Pop-Star) .
The show inhabits its own construction, feeds on the utopia of fiction and shows, in its transitions, what we never see as compulsive consumers of immediate streaming: the other side of the Pop-Star.

Meet the company
Mar Garcia, choreographer and performer, and Javi Soler, conductor and choir, explore the relationship between movement and sound as protagonists of the stage action. Their creation is based on the combination of contemporary composition techniques with generational references and also to the collective imagination, and always seeks the connection with the spectator. With its own compositional style, the company investigates, experiments and claims the transversality between music and dance, creating proposals full of rhythm, humor and imagination.
